Rating: NOT qualified FOR WINDOWS seven UPGRADE
Now I’m quite annoyed with for posting that this computer is qualified for a Windows seven upgrade. I contacted Acer and I have been informed this computer isn’t qualified, if that’s a reason for you to purchase this computer, look for another one and be sure it is you can not believe it just because posts it on the item page, seemingly. I have never had any problem with in the past, so I’m surprised by their false marketing.

As for the computer itself, it has had some issues. 1st of all, it can not find the webcam to be able to use it for video making. Second, I turned it on today and got a awful blue screen which my son tells me has to do with factory installed drivers. I’m no computer geek so I really do not know what he’s talking about, maybe people reading this will know what I mean. It also has gone into hibernation and I couldn’t get it out! Being that I do not know many about computers you may be able to take it with a grain of salt, but I can be returning this, I have not decided still.

I am really disappointed because it’s comfy to use, pretty lightweight, and it does not get hot like the old Compaq I have. I bought it to do simple things, like surf the net, word processing, run Cricut Design Studio, and Adobe Photoshop which I do not installed on it yet. It runs Design Studio just good, for all of you Cricut users, the screen is plentiful in size to get a good view of what you are creating.

I bought it when it was $473.00 which I think is a great price, but now I see there may have been a reason for that!!

Rating: 3 star only for the price
I bought this laptop for my twelve yr old niece and I was static due to price. The laptop itself is disappointing, it hangs for no obvious reason and just after two weeks, the free virus protection was not able to protect the laptop. I had to purchase a virus protection of my choice now to save the laptop. I could give it three star only due to price.

This laptop is perfect for me, works good with all programs I have to run. Size, presentation and color are great.

I’m very happy with this laptop. I read the others reviews about bloatware but wasnt an issue for as since I order an upgraded hard drive and installed a clean win7 image on it. Also the batter life may be better.
